Our Mission
The FEHR Foundation is unwavering in its mission to bring justice to the wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. We are dedicated to reforming the federal habeas corpus process—advocating for essential changes to 28 USC § 2255, extending the statute of limitations for new evidence claims, and eliminating restrictive appellate barriers—so that every innocent voice is heard. In addition, our initiatives extend to the community level: we offer youth violence intervention in multicultural neighborhoods and provide comprehensive life experiences consulting and mentorship for at‐risk youth, giving them real alternatives to incarceration. Beyond our legal advocacy, we provide a lifeline for those exonerated through education, job training, mental health resources, and housing assistance—transforming stories of injustice into victories of hope and second chances.
